Laurent “Larry” Remillard is a graduate of Punahou High School where he was the Hawaii high school state wrestling champion at 155 pounds.  Larry then attended the University of Hawaii and was also an assistant wrestling coach at Iolani School.  At UH, Larry was inspired to pursue a career in law by the plight of flood victims as recounted in the book The Buffalo Creek Disaster by Gerald M. Stern.  Larry is a 1987 graduate of the Santa Clara University School of Law where he was a finalist in the Santa Clara School of Law Mock Trial Competition.  

Upon his return to Hawaii from law school, Larry became a law clerk to the Honorable Philip T. Chun, Chief Judge of the civil division of the State of Hawaii, First Circuit Court.  In 1988, after a one-year clerkship, Larry became an associate at the law firm of Gill Park Park & Kim.  In January 1994 Larry became a partner in the firm, which was then known as Park Kim Yu & Remillard and later became known as Park Park & Remillard.  In his 22 years at Park Park & Remillard, Larry focused on the successful representation of plaintiffs in a wide range of personal injury and related cases.  On January 1, 2011, Larry and Don Huynh, his former associate of six years, formed the law firm, Remillard Huynh & Barbour.  If you are in need of legal representation, Larry and the law firm of Remillard Huynh & Barbour are ready to provide you with skilled and effective representation.

Larry is married and has two children.  In his spare time, he enjoys surfing and cycling.  He is also a volunteer wrestling coach at Punahou High School.
